断捨離 || Danshari

断捨離 || Danshari

The Japanese word for minimalism is danshari (断捨離), which is made up of three kanji characters: dan (断), sha (捨), and ri (捨). *Dan means to refuse unnecessary items, *sha means to throw away garbage, and *ri means to avoid keeping unused items.

This quiet still life study was shot a few months back, and I’m finally ready to share it with the world. I love the simplicity, the tones, and the subtle textures.
